Shrewsbury Police Blotter: Heroin Caught in Traffic Stop

Saturday, Feb. 11
Shrewsbury police arrested a man from Villa Ridge for possession of heroin and drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop for failing to properly register a Honda Civic on westbound Interstate 44 near Shrewsbury Avenue.
Monday, Feb. 13
A ring was reported missing from the room of a patient at Mary Queen & Mother Center located at 7601 Watson Rd.
Police arrested a man from South St. Louis City for stealing clothes and shoes from Value Village, 7435 Watson Rd. The man tried to run from police and he was charged with resisting arrest as well.
Police were called to Waterway, 7201 Watson Rd. due to a gold colored Mercury Grand Marquis that left the area without paying for $54.51 worth of gas. The vehicle had a stolen license plate and was last scene heading east on Watson Rd.
Tuesday, Feb. 14
At 12:35 a.m. police issued citations to a Hazelwood resident for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop from an improper turn at Ravensridge Drive and Laclede Station Road.
