1996 nissan maxima ignition problem - Replacement - Nissan Maxima

I have a 1996 Nissan Maxima GLE and I have problems starting it, but only sometimes. Any ideas?

All my lights are on, and the battery is fine. THere is no gas smell, or smoke, and no noticeable leaks of any fluid. I have a brand new air filter. The ignition engages, it cranks, and begins to turn over but it won't fully start. Sometimes it starts

Could be ignition wires/spark plugs in which case you change plugs, wires, distributor cap and rotor, or it could possibly be the fuel filter. Max engine is strong so its not a majour problem, quick tune up with the things mentioned above should fix the

It turned out to be a combination of three things: Bad engine to chassis grounds, bad MAF, and bad MAF ground. Cleaning the grounds is free and not too difficult, as is running a new groundwire from the MAF to the intake manifold. I was having stalling issues once my engine warmed up, for example it would stall when I pushed in the clutch as I slowed for a stop sign.
