1984 nissan maxima, I can drop the starter and the fly wheel spins freely, ?
Anyone out there can lead me in the right direction, the flywheel to the torqe converter ? or the crank ? help
Your car doesn't have a flywheel. It has a flex plate which is bolted to the end of the crankshaft, the torque converter is bolted to the flexplate. The torque converter has a starter ring, this ring is used to start your car.
